i just went to albertsons %26amp; bought clairol blonde hair dye;

i have medium brown hair , but my mom keeps trying to talk me out of it , saying it might turn orange ?!

i have near black eye brows , will it look normal ?

also , is Clairol a good hair dye brand ?

okay..you need to be careful on what hair color you get..since you hav darker hair then the hair color probraly will turn orange..but sumtimes salons dont get it blonde enough ethier..it will sound bad but you will need a bleaching kit if you reeally want you hair blonde...and u will need to dye your eyebrowns becuz they will look too dark..just make sure you dont leave the dye on them too long..you want them brown not blonde..it will look like you hav a disease..but Sallys beauty supply has a bleaching kit by clariol..ask the employees to help you get everything you need for the kit..its under $10...also ask for the thing called red out..it gets any brassy orange tones out of your hair too..so incase your hair doesnt take to the blonde...if i wer you i would start off with just sum blonde streaks to see how it works..if it looks good..u can add more or do your whole head! good luck!

NEVER. mom is right. dont do it. hit up a salon. its definitely well worth it.

but either way, if you do it yourself or go to the salon, get your eyebrows colored, black wont look right with blonde hair.

Oh my goodness... DON'T DO IT IF YOU LOVE OR EVEN LIKE YOUR HAIR A LITTLE.... Store bought blonde dye makes anyone look cheap! It definately looks store bought and there's a very good chance it won't come out right...... You have to ease your way into blonde hair if you have brown hair. It will DEFINATELY discolor!!!! DON'T DO IT! Yes, going to the store and buying hair dye MAY be the cheaper route... But if you want it to look good... PLEASE visit your hair stylist. It's totally worth $100+ dollars.... Blonde hair dye has peroxide and other nasty stuff in it that will LITERALLY fry your hair.....

And to answer your last Q... There is no good hair dye brand bought from a store.... NONE of it is good.
