i was born with blue eyes and light brown hair, i have always wanted to dye my hair blonde...( like a sandy blonde colour)..except alot of my friends are telling me that that look is not in style now. i was wondering if you agreed with this... i would like to see replies from both sexes. thnx..

Being blondes has never been out-of-style, its always been "IN" why do you think so many celebrities dye their hair blonde? to get noticed and become famous in a short span of time. Look at Paris Hilton, she has blonde hair and blue eyes and she's famous I think the inexpensive way is to go to a mall and try on a Blonde WIG first and see how it looks on you. I think you should go with Paris Hilton's shade of blonde

I hope it's not out of style...because I have both. I get compliments very often and I personally think the look is adorable on some but not on many. It has to look natural to look good so I wouldn't go completely platinum but make sure it isn't yellow/goldish either!

If you've always wanted blonde hair, do it. Though, blue eyes look gorgeous with dark brown hair so you may want to try that too.

dark hair also contrasts with the eyes so it's extra exotique and beautiful

and the contrast also makes the eyes pop out more, so it's more noticeable

genetically its' rarer to have brown hair and blue eyes because of cross linking in your chromosomes or something

( can't remember exactly took biology years ago)

Blonde hair w/ blue eyes will always be in vogue.But I think that black hair w/ blue eyes is better.Just as I think that blonde hair w/ brown eyes is very pretty. Maybe you should talk with a hair-stylist and ask what he/she can recommend.But if you really want to go blonde then I say go for it! : ) p.s. In early nineteenth-century England, Blonde haired/Blue-eyed girls were held in such high esteem that the poet Lord Byron wrote a poem praising the beauty of a girl with raven hair and dark eyes.To each his/her own. : )
