I have blonde hair with white blonde streaks. Is it okay if I dye my hair? Is it going to toally ruin it/ I have a medium skin tone (im white). And also how often would I have to dye to make sure I dont get roots and my other color showing. And if I wanted my old color back how would I?

if ur pale get a tan first because i accidently dyed my hair black and i was VERY dark i use to go to the tanning bed every night but i looked so white after that. i think it would be okay to dye it but since ur going to one extreme try gradually doing it like go brown then black so u dont end up w/ a weird color which u shouldnt but u cant really base how often to dye it on the answers from here because it depends on how fast ur hair grows. just dye it when u start to see roots *ull notice before others do* to dye it back u would probably have to bleach it idk ud prolly have to go to a salon.

you will have to touch up often and theres not going back, if you want to grow it out its going to look terrible you cannot dye you hair lighter after going black.

If you are a blonde, once you dye your hair dark, it'll take you a LONG time to get it to it's normal color. The only way to get it blonde again quick is to dye it again. Every 3-4 months you get your hair re-done and you wont get any roots. Hope this helps!!

You would use hair dye. Found in liek any store. And I think you should stay blonde. Not many people have natural blonde hair. And hair dye will ruin your roots. You'll have to dye it a lot. Maybe every month and a half. And it also makes hair feel thicker, coarser, and drier.

I don't think you should color it black if your hair is naturally blond. Clairol says on their boxes to not go more than 2 shades darker or lighter than your current shade. If you really want to go black, then see a hairstylist I think. Oh, your roots will eventually show.
