My hair is a reddish-blonde, I would like to loose the red in my hair.

Any suggestions ??

To cancel the red you need to use a color with a purple or blue base,that would be ash.

You can try a semi permanent hair color in a shade of medium ash brown if you want to go a little darker.

To go lighter, please have a professional hairdresser work with your color. You would have to permanently (meaning you would have to grow it out to get back to your naturaly color) bleach the hair to get rid of the red, and doing it yourself could turn it a really nasty shade of orange.

I think your hair sounds perfect just how it is! If you want to change it up I say go ALL red. That's the color this season but it just depends what your comfortable with. Reds are smart.

*sigh* if you must change it, try a non acidic bleach to lighten the red to a more strawberry blond color that will leave you with light, sunny golden hair that is really hard to find in any bottle or genetics

you can try to go to Sallys' Beauty Supply and get a R%26amp;G corrector, it may work..It will take the red and gold undertones out of your hair..
